Transformers Optimus Prime Birthday Cake

 

The Transformers Optimus Prime cake was a superhit among kids and both adults at the party.Optimus Prime is an all sugar sculpted figure standing tall around 7 inches.I had recreated him from a google image of a G1 Optimus Prime.

The cakes were yellow and chocolates tiers with blackberry cream cheese filling , vanilla butter cream and French pastry called Dacquoise, it's basically a meringue cookie .Recipe for Dacquoise was from Woodland Bakery Bloghttp://www.woodlandbakeryblog.com/hazelnut-mocha-dacquoise/.

The cake board was covered in paper and contact paper and the design made the cake pop out.

All the details on the cake were individually cut and added to the cake

Team Umizoomi 2D Fondant cake topper
