I was asked recently to make a small smash cake for a little girl for her 1st birthday photo shoot.The client wanted a gold and pink themed cake with her initials on the cake.It was an all buttercream vanilla sponge cake and butter based buttercream and I handcut fondant circles in different sizes and painted them gold.The name plaque was also gold painted with the pink initial painted with pink disco dust to be all sparkly and glittery.I added Wilton's gold sprinkles and dragees on top.
I loved the photo shoot picture , made the cake I made look spectacular!

She also ordered nearly 70 cupcakes in the same design for the party later.
Loved the whole pink and gold theme that was going on with this order!
